The light version is the one I use and, as a grinder, they work just fine and I've noticed my teeth don't hurt when I wake up in the middle of the night or in the morning. The kit also comes with a heavy duty version that I would say is on par with sports mouth guards so if the regular version isn't 'heavy' enough I'm pretty sure the heavy duty version will be. I wish I would have ordered these years ago. It probably would have prevented some of the dental I had done.I have been been using the normal trays. The process for molding them to my teeth is really easy and works well. I microwave some water in a small dish, test it with a food thermometer, and when the temperature is correct I put in the guard and use the stop watch on my phone to make sure I have it in the hot water for the correct time. It works perfectly.For me, I get about a week and half of use out of one guard before they show ware. I did try the heavy duty guard, but could not get a good fit for my teeth in it. That may have been user error though.I will continue using this product as it has really helped my teeth/jaws not been sore when I wake up and I am sleeping much better. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Mouth Guard! *by T***L on August 9, 2023* I’ve gone through so many of these, so have experienced my fair share of different ones. I’m so glad I decided on this one & will be buying again! It’s an excellent deal for 3, as well as really easy to make (some instructions break down the process so detailed that it’s hard not to screw up). It got hot super quick (I left it in the water 15 full seconds). I didn’t have to trim, but because I left it in so long, it stuck together a little but was easy to un-stick and mold. It’s super comfortable and hasn’t gotten any sort of discoloration/fog to it like some others do.
