Review: Tool upgrade - Used one of these in the garage i worked at before retiring so was a must have for the home workshop Review: Works well - on decent air pressure - I've seen plenty of these air impact gun reviews and i now understand. Most of the time the reason "it won't even undo my car wheel nuts" is because you need to give it decent high pressure air at a good flow rate. I had same issue initially them cranked it up and now it works great. Disclaimer- use higher air above manufacturer’s recommended pressure at your own risk. ## Features - Set contains impact socket, extension bar, oil pot, mini oiler, hex wrench and nipple with 1/4 inches BSP air inlet - 90 psi recommended air pressure - Packed in blow moulded case - The air impact wrench has a flat base, meaning it can be set down in an upright position - Ideal for general garage, body shop and workshop use ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B006N7K4NW | | Best Sellers Rank | 51,997 in DIY & Tools ( See Top 100 in DIY & Tools ) 44 in Impact Wrenches | | Brand | Hilka | | Colour | Black Or Gray | | Country of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 out of 5 stars 127 Reviews | | Finish | Unpolished | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05013433151671, 07914294826990 | | Head Style | Fixed Square, Flat, Hex | | Head style | Fixed Square, Flat, Hex | | Included Components | Hilka 85151617 1/2-inch Air Impact Wrench Set | | Item Length | 26 Centimetres | | Item Package Quantity | 1 | | Item Torque | 230 Foot Pounds | | Item Type Name | Hilka 85151617 1/2-inch Air Impact Wrench Set | | Item Weight | 848 g | | Item length | 26 Centimetres | | Item package quantity | 1 | | Item weight | 848 g | | Jaw Capacity | 1.27 Centimetres | | Manufacturer | Hilka | | Measurement Standard | Metric | | Model Number | 85151617 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Operation Mode | Pneumatic | | Part Number | 85151617 | | Set Name | Impact Wrenches | | UPC | 791429482699 | | Unit Count | 1000.0 gram | ## Product Details - **Colour:** Black Or Gray - **Brand:** Hilka - **Material:** Metal - **Item length:** 26 Centimetres - **Item weight:** 848 g ## Images ![Hilka 85151617 1/2-inch Air Impact Wrench Set - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61GxKNLlytL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What is the max torque** A: It's a while since i checked but fairly sure it's about 240lb/ft or 320Nm when on setting 4 - there's a little wheel on the bottom of the hand grip to alter the torque settings graduated from 1 to 4. Think it goes 60/120/180/240 lb/ft respectively on positions 1/2/3/4 but can't remember properly. It's always best to use a torque wrench when doing fasteners up anyway and don't use this for doing up wheel nuts on alloy wheels - you'll damage the wheels! It's ok for removing them but not putting them on.Hope that is helpful for you! **Q: Can this do wheels on a car** A: Not powerful enough your better off getting a better one **Q: Where do i put the oil? also, what oil do i use? thanks** A: You can either use the mini-oiler as supplied which fits into the air inlet port of the machine and fill it with oil or periodically drop some oil into the inlet port - i used 10W40 semi-synthetic engine oil on mine but any light oil ~SAE30 will work. Also check to make sure the torque adjustment knob works as it should, mine was sticky if i hadn't used it for a while and some silicone oil spray into the inlet port followed by operating it in all 4 torque settings then lube as normal fixed it. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tool upgrade *by N***S on 8 July 2026* Used one of these in the garage i worked at before retiring so was a must have for the home workshop ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well - on decent air pressure *by A***_ on 4 April 2024* I've seen plenty of these air impact gun reviews and i now understand. Most of the time the reason "it won't even undo my car wheel nuts" is because you need to give it decent high pressure air at a good flow rate. I had same issue initially them cranked it up and now it works great. Disclaimer- use higher air above manufacturer’s recommended pressure at your own risk. ### ⭐ Much weaker than expected *by R***N on 20 December 2025* Avoid, absolute waste of money, it couldn't open a coke bottle. Every nut and bolt was met with nothing but a rattle and noise. I expect so much better. Had it running at 8 bar or 116 psi. Bolts were tightened to 120nm this impact wrench states it can deliver up to 311nm. Fyi, It did not come with oil or female coupling that connects the oil filter to the air hose, unless your hose has a female coupling attachment. ## Frequently Bought Together - Hilka 85151617 1/2-inch Air Impact Wrench Set - Silverline Air Line Bayonet Male Thread Coupler Pack of 2, 1/4" BSP (918523) - Silverline 633578 10 Metre Air Line Rubber Hose --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/49879854-hilka-85151617-1-2-inch-air-impact-wrench-set](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/49879854-hilka-85151617-1-2-inch-air-impact-wrench-set) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
