     This book is very detailed and goes into depth of what you need to know as a beginner witch! I still reference it after 1 year of owning it. I love the explanations of the days of the week, herbs, flowers, crystal and moon phases and how they influence your spell work. This book will give you a detailed, step by step explanation of circle casting. With everything in life, take what you need and what applies to your craft and leave the rest. All in all, it is a very good book to have for anyone interested in the craft.

I first bought this book a few years back from a metaphysical bookstore years ago while I was going through a very chaotic, painful, but pivotal period of my life. This book provided some method to my madness, so to speak, in regards to my spirituality. It helped build a framework from which I would later structure my own core values and key principles within my practice.It’s an easy read, with simple yet concise and thorough foundational knowledge and basic elements in a wide range of various subjects. I’ve recommended this book to numerous baby witches just starting out on their path, and I’ve purchased it again so that I could give my cousin a gift for Yule/winter solstice. She was stoked to receive this!Overall, I highly recommend this book to those taking their first steps upon the path. You’ll thank yourself later.
