For my personal opinion I wouldn't think it has a high resistance to heat. Ask the manufacturer on their website, it may help. **Q: Could this be used for external pipe insulation? Prefer not to use liquid glue when up a ladder!!!** A: Dear Customer, Thanks for your question! This is mainly a mounting tape to bond/mount two flat surfaces. Never heard this tape can be used for pipe insulation. Sorry, but we are always trying to be very honest and in this case I would recommend some other method, since I do not really know the application. Best Regards Sanojtape. **Q: Will it stick to silicone?** A: In my experience the adhesive is so strong it will stick to pretty much anything! **Q: Would this stick a small solar light to outside brickwork?** A: I think it may for a while, but I would not be confident on it holding for very long, because of the nature of brick being a porous and rough surface. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent product *by A***A on 21 October 2017* Only just used this and it appears to be a great product, the adhesive is very sticky and the backing film is very easy to remove. I used it to stick a carbon fibre seat base to my aluminum wheelchair and after leaving it for 24 hours I was able to lift the chair by the carbon fiber I had attached the aluminum frame. My chair is only 7kg so it will hold this weight OK. Waiting to see how if performs long term as it states it will work up to 80 degrees and in summer our air temperature can reach 50oC +. Reason İ bought this product is that there is a layer of foam which acts as a cushion effect which is helpful as it gives a bit more flexibility than ordinary double sided tape and provides better adhesion for my purpose. I used it for sticking on wind deflectors on my car. The deflectors are second hand and missing the clips, but with this tape I stuck them on neatly and in minutes. They've been on for over a year now.. they'll never budge. I've used this tap for so many other uses.
