Review: Perfect for NordicTrak Rower - I have a NordicTrak RW900 rower. I also one heck of a tailbone that repeatedly causes me problems. This seat cushion is awesome. It simply sits on top of the rower seat. It's not big cushion that changes how you sit. In fact, it is surprisingly thin with gel pads on both sides and a cut out for the oh mighty tail bone. The bottom is a nonslip rubber. It isn't the exact shape of the NordicTrak, but it is perfect. It doesn't slide. I can now ride much longer than I was previously. (I had some chafing that I got orior to ordering this pad, and I was able to ride in complete comfort while the chafing healed). Highly recommend. I have no doubt that this will fit any model of rower.

**Q: will this work for outdoor rowing?**
A: I would assume if it's a stationary rower and the dimensions accompany the seat it should be fine. I would cover the seat just in case of rain for protection

**Q: Which direction is this intended to sit?**
A: look at rower’s seat and match shape as close as possible.  on my tower, straight edge sits at rear.

I have had this pad for a while and it does make longer rowing intervals more comfortable. It also shows no sign of breaking down. I didn't realize how big a difference it made until we dropped into another gym on vacation and I did my usual session without it.
