Our laptop could barely receive it and now has full bars on the signal indicator. Downside for us, though not specific to the product, is that if the wireless aerial in the laptop fires up as well, the two interfere with each other and nothing is received. It only happens occasionally, despite disabling the internal adaptor.

This has made such a difference to the wifi reception for our laptop. We are currently in a marina with an average signal at best. ### ⭐ It's a Screw-On!

May be unfair of me to give only one star but....It's a screw-on antenna. I neglected to look on my router before ordering. There is no place to screw it onto. My existing antenna is fixed into the plastic body. I checked with many other friends and relatives' routers and they were also fixed. How many people have a possible connection on their routers? LOOK BEFORE YOU BUY!
