Designed for impeccable looks and everyday performance, the Select knife from our Founder’s Collection is discreet in the pocket but decisive when open. The slim 4.25-inch silhouette is accented by an aggressive 3-inch, tanto blade constructed of 9Cr18Mov stainless steel with a silver satin finish. A stainless-steel pocket clip makes for easy carry and is accented by an interchangeable pin (two colors included) at the clip end of the knife for personalized detail. When the knife is tucked away in a suitcoat or jeans pocket, it looks like it could be anything but a knife—an unassuming accent to your attire. For safety, a liner lock inside of the frame secures the blade in use. Available in three colors, the different models this line showcase different features: a black titanium nitride blade-coating for wear resistance, linen micarta handles for a textured grip, and aluminum handles for a classic aesthetic. The Select knife is backed by COAST’s lifetime warranty. ## Features - SLEEK SILHOUETTE: The slim 4.25-inch silhouette is accented by an aggressive 3-inch, tanto blade constructed of 9Cr18Mov stainless steel with a silver satin finish. - LINER LOCK: Work safely with single-handed blade control—the inside of the knife’s frame functions as a locking mechanism and allows you to keep one hand free while opening and closing the knife. - FLIPPER TAB: Flipper Tab with Caged Bearings Open the knife with an easy flick—the flip tab fitted with caged bearings makes for effortless motion and balance in the hand. - TITANIUM NITRIDE FINISH: Resist damage and sport a striking look—with the black titanium nitride coating applied to the 9Cr18Mov steel blade. - COAST LIFETIME WARRANTY: Take confidence in your product knowing it is backed by COAST’s total commitment to quality and Lifetime Warranty program. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BMDXJCGK | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #426,544 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #1,494 in Camping Folding Knives | | Blade Edge | V-Grind | | Blade Length | 3 inches | | Blade Material | Stainless Steel | | Blade Shape | Tanto Point | | Blade Type | tanto | | Brand Name | Coast | | Color | Dark Green | | Customer Package Type | Standard Retail Packaging" or "Protective Shipping Box | | Customer Reviews | 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars (148) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00015286308580 | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Handle Material | Aluminum | | Included Components | Allen wrench tool and spare pin | | Item Length | 4.25 inches | | Item Shape | folding knife | | Item Type Name | COAST - 30858 | | Item Weight | 6.24 ounces | | Manufacturer | Coast | | Model Name | LX504 | | Model Number | 30858 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | LX504 | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Recommended Uses For Product | Utility | | Reusability | Reusable | | Size | 3" | | Special Features | Foldable, Locking Blades | | Style | SD/microSD (10Gbps) | | Theme | Sport | | UPC | 015286308580 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Blade Material:** Stainless Steel - **Brand:** Coast - **Color:** Dark Green - **Handle Material:** Aluminum - **Included Components:** Allen wrench tool and spare pin - **Model Name:** LX504 - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Utility - **Special Feature:** Foldable, Locking Blades - **Style:** SD/microSD (10Gbps) ## Images ![Coast Founder's Collection SELECT LX504, Gentleman's EDC Folding Pocketknife, Tanto Blade, Flipper Tab, Liner Lock, Two Position Pocket Clip, Black 9Cr18Mov Stainless-Steel, Dark Green - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51lL2mWK0+L.jpg) ![Coast Founder's Collection SELECT LX504, Gentleman's EDC Folding Pocketknife, Tanto Blade, Flipper Tab, Liner Lock, Two Position Pocket Clip, Black 9Cr18Mov Stainless-Steel, Dark Green - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31OUFmsbuvL.jpg) ![Coast Founder's Collection SELECT LX504, Gentleman's EDC Folding Pocketknife, Tanto Blade, Flipper Tab, Liner Lock, Two Position Pocket Clip, Black 9Cr18Mov Stainless-Steel, Dark Green - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51BlIj4dCSL.jpg) ![Coast Founder's Collection SELECT LX504, Gentleman's EDC Folding Pocketknife, Tanto Blade, Flipper Tab, Liner Lock, Two Position Pocket Clip, Black 9Cr18Mov Stainless-Steel, Dark Green - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41a1FzG7roL.jpg) ![Coast Founder's Collection SELECT LX504, Gentleman's EDC Folding Pocketknife, Tanto Blade, Flipper Tab, Liner Lock, Two Position Pocket Clip, Black 9Cr18Mov Stainless-Steel, Dark Green - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41yOQIW7j+L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: How long is the handle?** A: There is a picture is one of the reviews.
