It fitted perfectly and worked right away. They instructions supplied only show how to fit the drive into the caddy but to be fair there are so many different laptops around it would be difficult to cover all models. I searched on the web and found a video which showed the process step by step. It fits in the perfectly where the optical drive used to sit.
