Beautifully detailed and appointed with nice internal fittings. At this scale it is a large model and the rotors will take up a fair bit of shelf space. Although to be fair, having them rotate freely adds to the value of this model. It just wouldn't be right if they were folded. The excess of detail makes this a nightmare or a dream for painting depending on your view. Getting this thing into an authentic colour scheme with weathering and stains on the relevant pieces is actually a pleasure, and the detailing provided helps a lot to get this right. No, oil streaks etc are not modelled on, but the detailing for vents, exhaust and other parts is more than sufficient to see where wear and tear and weathering would occur. Worth every penny for a beautiful model that has had some care taken in it's creation. It's based on this model of helicopter, which is why I've bought it and started kit-bashing the parts I need to fabricate to make the UTH-66. I've never had a problem with Italeri models, I have a couple of others that are pretty good kits - read a few times that the quality is not up to scratch but while I'm not a hardcore modeller, I've always found them to be decent.
