I've had issues with other benches in the past on these points, with either folding up really not working, or the item being too flimsy. When the box arrived I was was expecting to spend the usual hour putting it together before seeing if it would fold up easily or not. To my surprise what slid out of the box was an already constructed bench, compact enough to fit in the standard box as is. No effort needed on my part, I simply unfolded it and plugged in the three positioners, and foam leg rest. Done. I'm very impressed, for the money it feels very well constructed and sturdy, it's very flexible with the range of adjustments it is capable of, and on top of that folds away very neatly and compact simply sliding under the bed when done. Would definitely recommend. Note, the square framed bench now in the pic is not the one I bought, the one I bought was a triangular framed bench, which allows for decline sit ups.
