Y'all saw the news.... massive storms destroyed most interior BC highways & railways - cargo ships couldn't reach Vancouver to unload - so the order was understandably delayed to 30 December. Thing is, we're selling our house and all my winter clothes are packed in storage. I got the Amazon delay notice, panicked and emailed customer service. The very next day (10 Nov) I get a DHL email confirming immediate delivery - 3 days later I'm trying it on. Now that's a Christmas miracle. No wait - it was marked down $40+ for black Friday to $95 (go figure) what a blessing! This coat was made in Ohio (not f?&#@!% China) - reliable US manufacturing - well made sturdy material (no chemical scent) - completely blocks rain and wind - fit exact to size (I'm 5.1 slightly portly 117 lbs - so medium fits nicely) It zips to the neck and reaches almost to my knees - so most of my body is covered/protected. That said, it's light weight - dons and doffs quickly/easily. The fur piece zippers off (thank God) and that big hood will certainly keep the rain off. The satin-smooth lining is thickly padded so the coat is very warm (like toasty) and I'd rate it perfect for snow shoeing or long winter hikes. I'm really happy. Mostly this is to THANK Amazon customer service staff (and DHL) for coming through, now I have a great winter coat and grateful indeed for their kind hearts and hard work....
