The animated characters basically take on the roles of the people in the film, and the main players here are Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester, Tweety (played in the style of Peter Lorre), Yosemite Sam, Pepe Le Pew and Penelope Pussycat. Watch out for fleeting cameos from Sam Sheepdog, Elmer Fudd, Porky Pig and many more. I'm not usually a fan of the latter-day made 'Looney Tunes', but this was a good one. Beautiful artwork, good voice acting, and a fun plot makes 'Carrotblanca' something of a 'must'.As well as this little nugget, this 1996 released video tape contains the following extra shorts, which make up a healthy mix of old and new: 'Dripalong Daffy' (1951), 'Hare do' (1949), 'You Ought to be in Pictures' (1940), an early exercise of combining live-action and animation, 'The Scarlet Pumpernickel' (1950), and the much more recent 'Box Office Bunny' (1991).
