I needed to pull them down and clean them up and repaint them. I figured it would be a chore getting the bolts off. Not with this took - took less than two minutes to unscrew the bolts on each set of bars. No problems with any of them. As an added bonus - none of the bolts were damaged in any way. I can easily reuse them when I put the bars back up. The tool is great - heavy duty and well made. I am very happy with my purchase. Will be recommending this tool & brand to everybody. Thanks. Tried these On one stuck fastener, no luck... but that fastener broke 3 drill bits, 3 different extractor bits, dulled 11 burr bits and broke 3 of them. Never did get that fastener to come out...drilled it and retapped the hole. But these pliers didn’t back down. Awaiting opportunity to have success with these. The pro is larger and heavier and the one I use daily. The regular version is better for finer type work. **Q: Are these any different from the Engineer PZ-59 pliers for $10 cheaper? Other than that they have green handles?** A: I haven't used the "Engineer" pliers and this is the first time using the Vampliers and I have no buyers remorse. These pliers (barring the cheesy name) have been impressive and have removed every screw that I have attempted, including some 6-32 button head screws that the 1/8" hex wrench had no chance of removing. Round-about answer I know but I hope this helps. **Q: What makes them so different from other pliers?** A: Look at the jaws. You can see they are serrated both radial and axial. That solution gives the plier an outstanding grip on almost anything. Furthermore they are made of high grade steel and are very sturdy. Watch your fingers. This one bites! **Q: Would a skeptical retired Lineman appreciate these? They are obsessed with their Klein tools** A: I am a retired lineman myself and I just love Vampliers. They are expensive but worth every penny. Only issue, if head of screw has a larger diameter handles are spread pretty far apart, i have big hands, but hard to get a good "Strong Squeeze " on handles. Recommend an additional adjustable pliar, so the handles can be closer together for maximum Squeeze in the strength "box" of your hands.
