If the protected door is opened, the electronic exit stopper for double doors emits a 95/105 ear piercing alarm for 30 seconds, three minutes or continuously. A key operated override will silence the alarm and allow authorized exits. Another option is annunciator mode, in this mode it announces a doors opening with a set of 10 beeps and then resets. Should not be exposed to water. Exit Stopper is fitted with a long life 9-VDC alkaline battery. With the STI-6402 there will be (1) reed on board wired into the RS1 for the second door you will attach the additional reed in the hardware pack into the RS2. Each door will need to have the extra magnet along side each reed (wired magnet) and when they separate it goes into alarm. No more folks sneaking out! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good inexpensive alarm *by V***6 on July 14, 2022* I put this alarm product on an outbuilding as a door alarm, using the alarm extension as a door trigger and mounting the box next to the door. The basic electronic design allows for a number of configurations and you can use it to trip outboard visual alarms with the onboard NO/NC relay contacts. Over and above using it for alarming a secured exit door it is versatile enough to create a multi sensor basic alarm system.
