**Q: hi does aps 400 have twin outlets and does anyone know any good quiet air pump which has twin outlets, thankyou**
A: Hi. The APS 400 does have twin outlets. Although it is quiet, the pump is noisier than my filter ( a Fluval 306).  Hope this helps.

**Q: Why do some models have the make tetra written on the box and others tetratac. has tetra changed its name or are these pumps made by another company?**
A: they are all made by the same company. Maybe its to do with different countries language.

**Q: Would this work in a 70cm deep tank?**
A: No. Unless theres something wrong with mine, tank is 73cm deep and doesnt power a 12" led air bar

Powerful pump i have 260l tank and this has no problems with air stone,bubble wall etc,spot on.

Was not as silent as I had expected, I actually bought this to replace a much cheaper twin outlet air pump worth only £12 I have been running for the best part of 5 months straight, which I thought was probably a bit noisy compared to say something in this price bracket. It turns out that I was wrong, while this is a good pump and produces a great stream of bubbles through anything, air stone, air tubing ect. It's just not as quiet as I thought it was going to be based on the other reviews I had seen here. I would say great pump, but just that price point is a little too much, in aquatic retailers this pump is priced the vast majority of the time over the £30 mark, which even after Amazons good price for £25, it's probably still a little too much, considering the performance isint far away from the lesser known brand one I've used previously that only cost £12 brand new.
