## Description

Nicoderm CQ Smoking Cessation Patch with 7mg 14 ct Step 3

Review: Love it - Works great for quitting. If you only smoke 2-4 cigarettes per day you could probably start at this level. I started off using Step 2 at work because I'm not allowed to smoke there. Eventually, I ended up quitting altogether and moving down to Step 3. I used to smoke 6-10 cigarettes per day depending on various factors. I started off with Step 1 for two weeks (1 box of 14 patches). Step 1 was very strong for someone who only smokes 6-10 cigarettes per day. I did two weeks of it just to make sure that it would be strong enough to make me not want cigarettes, but it was intense. After 2 weeks of step 1 I moved down to Step 2 and used about 2-3 boxes before moving down to step 3. I kept using Step 3 until I felt "Annoyed" by the patch. What do I mean? Nicotine is a poison. Once you break free of the addiction, all you're left with are the poisonous side effects. I used my days off of work to try going without any patch at all, staying at home in a low stress environment. I was able to quit nicotine entirely after just 2 weeks of step 3 (1 box). I still keep some Step 3 patches at home and at work just in case I'm really stressed or if I'm drinking alot (I always want to smoke when I get drunk), but other than these rare occasions I'm done with nicotine and definitely done with cigarettes. I can breathe waaay better now and every time I'm tempted to smoke, I think of all the coughing, mucus, and health problems that come with it. Even E-Cigarettes were not kind to my lungs, and I even had a super fancy-shmancy refillable modifiable built-by-nasa one and only used VG liquid with all natural flavorings blah blah blah. So when I feel tempted to smoke, I slap on one of these instead. Update 04-29-16: I still use these every now and then at work. I work in a hospital and things can get stressful. Even with a daily shower these things didn't always sick to my arm very well for the full 24 hours, but I do have naturally oily skin. To make sure that these things stick to my arm every time I clean my arm first with rubbing alcohol pads. You can find these tiny little individually wrapped squares of cotton that are saturated with isopropyl alcohol at any pharmacy or right here on desertcart. Rub your arm real good with an alcohol pad, then wipe it off right away with a paper towel or clean part of your shirt. Wait a minute before applying the patch to let the alcohol and water from the wipes evaporate. This will help remove oils on your skin. I live in a hot/humid climate and my skin is naturally oily so I use about 2 alcohol wipes to get my arm completely clear of oils so that the patch will stay on for the full 24 hours.
Review: Just quit already - I smoked for about 20 years, and tried to quit multiple times. This will only do what it can, the hardest (and easiest) part is done by you- just don’t smoke. That’s it. It will take away the nicotine cravings, but the habit breaking (where you go on your breaks, what you do with your fingers, dealing with stress) is on you. Find what works for you (my magic combo was altoids, peppermint gum, and a fidget device). I think I may have bought this for my wife who quit smoking a couple years after I did. I’m just shy of 7 years away from my last cigarette. Good riddance! You will have some of the longest, most vivid dreams if you leave this on at night, if you want to sidestep that just remove it an hour or so before you go to bed.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do the patches fall off easily?**
A: The only time they fell off of me was when I got a massage. They stayed on during exercise and daily activities. Came off easy in the shower which is when I would change them. I have been very happy with this brand and was able to quit smoking with significantly milder mood disruption than cold turkey.

**Q: It says expired 2013? Is that true?**
A: no no no ours expire in 2019

**Q: can you use the Good RX prescription card on this purchase?**
A: I don't know. I didn't try.

**Q: i started with the 7mg patches been on them for 3 days and my craving are beinf managed well. how long do i continue to use the 7mg patch?**
A: I would go at least 30 days. Good for you. I found these very helpful. Wishing you success!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works!
*by J***E on June 23, 2018*

I smoked less than 10 a day. Both Step 1 and Step 2 are too strong for me, they make me feel nauseous. I placed Step 3 on my arm and went about my day. I forgot about smoking all day until the evening then I had a wild craving to smoke. I thought to myself, this patch must have stopped working. So I reached over to my arm to check on the patch and it had fallen off, it was MIA. I am giggling to myself becasue my assumption was wrong. The patch totally works, it just fell off... which is understandable I had a very active day. I really think I am going to be able to quit this time. Thank you Nicoderm!
