## Description

The Dutch-made sjoelbak is the only officially approved Sjoelbak. This is the only sjoelbak that the ANS (Dutch Sjoelbak League) uses for all their tournaments. No other brand sjoelbak is allowed for competition and once you play the board you will understand why. It is made of solid hardwood with 30 machine-tooled pucks to provide better control. Our boards are handmade of imported African hardwoods, such as Beechwood sides and ends, while the bottom is made of Meranti. The pucks and the portal bar are made of Beechwood. All components are manufactured and assembled in the Netherlands and are designed to give you years of enjoyment. Beware of "Cheap" imitations

It is meant to set on top of a table and you will need a longer one for stability. It’s kind of a table top shuffle board. It is well made and light enough for one person to move it around.

The wooden discs do make a bit of noise, wood on wood, but it's great fun. Scoring is a bit tricky at first, but easier with practice. Only complaint is the manufacturers could include more Score Sheets.

**Q: What is the assembly like? Does it require "leveling"? Can a normal person without woodworking stills assemble this?**
A: Thanks for the question. The sjoelbak comes fully assembled complete with 30 pucks. It is 81 Inches long and all you need is a 6 ft table to set on. It is OK if it overhangs a little at the far end

**Q: Is it foldable for storage?**
A: Hi there, thanks for your question. No it is not, but we do have the foldable Heemskerk Sport as an option. 
We are working with Schilte to develop a foldable sjoelbak that is both affordable and durable.

**Q: What are the dimensions?**
A: Our sjoelbak is 6' 6" long, 16.5" wide and 2.5" high (odd measurements because our boards are manufactured in metric dimensions in The Netherlands)

**Q: How is it played?**
A: It is played with 30 pucks and the board has 4 slots in the back & are marked with number of points indicated for each slot 2, 3, 4 &1 so. I was so excited to find this game. It is great for most ages. My parents had this game and I was so excited to find it at an affordable price. It was a novel Christmas gift that engaged and entertained the entire extended clan for days. It was easily moved from table top to kitchen island to rec room. It is well constructed from attractive natural wood and nicely finished.
