As I do with every purchase, I researched and read dozens of reviews. I wanted quality sound but also easy installation and neat and tidy. So after much deliberation I went for the Q Acoustics Q-TV2 2.1 System.I am delighted with it. The Sound is excellent and the unit fits easily and really looks neat and tidy. I love it.The reviews were actually very close and accurate to what I found, very helpful too. I had it connected first with the Headphone jack, which was OK, was able to control volume with the TV remote, but the sound was slightly hissy, but think this was more to do with the quality of socket and cable than the unit, because when I plugged in my iPod, the sound was excellent.So I decided to try the Toslink audio connection. I purchased quality lead and the sound difference is brilliant. Absolutely no hiss, crystal clear sound, excellent volume levels, the only thing is I have to use the supplied volume control, but it's very good and adjusts the volume in good increments.Overall great product and at a very good price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars neat neat neat *by B***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 May 2012* I bought this after becoming increasingly unhappy with the tinny sound on my new thin LED TV. I did not want to be cluttered with cables and speakers around the room and on spotting this device it seemed to be the answer. I have had it now for about 6 months and am extremely pleased. It only misses out on 5 stars because of the need to use a dedicated remote ( supplied) rather than being able to control by the TV remote. ( I bought a decent digital cable rather than use the headphone output which to my ear provided a slightly improved sound)The unit is very discrete and is very well made. I found the fitting to be very straightforward, but best done with the help of an assistant purely because once the unit is on the back of the TV the whole unit is quite heavy. The fitting kit is very comprehensive and there is a decent amount of adjustment. Do look out for ensuring access to all the inputs when making the adjustments.As for the sound. If you are looking for big booming bass this is not for you. The sound given is very natural and a huge leap over the TV sound. There is a whole range of sound particularly at the bottom end that was simply lost in the TV that is now revealed. Films are much more engaging and music improved beyond measure.
