It does a great job brightening your skin after one use. Of course the results are only temporary. It is both moisturizing and hydrating. It does have the typical vitamin C smell. I bet I’ve used 20 products that promised to reduce the appearance of dark spots, but not one of them did the trick. I kept asking myself when I’d give up and simply live with a problem I created myself, but dammit, I’m stubborn (and maybe a sucker?)!! I tried again last month, choosing this after reading reviews from multiple sources. My expectations were low, but for the affordable price, I figured I’d give it a shot. Well. Color me impressed beyond all reason. Three weeks in, a spot on my arm **fell right off**. Like, it was there one second, then it was a little piece of skin that had peeled away and was lying in the sink. A spot on one hand is also disappearing, albeit a bit slower. This stuff works! It really, actually, truly works. I’m thrilled and shocked and need to spread the word. I don’t wear make-up so I have no idea how it interacts with it, but on its own, it’s sticky.
