It is good at blocking the wind and feels light so if it is raining on a warm day you don't get too hot. The length is brilliant. It also goes back into the little bag easily so easy to carry until needed. The sleeves are a decent length and ai have long arms so this can be a challenge usually. It definitely works in light rain. It can take moderate rain for a short time but not for extended time.
