At full extension there is 3/8" inch of lift. I glued some 3/16 hard cork pad to the bottom of mine - they're used on a "4' x 6' pour table for acrylic resin. When pouring resin, it super critical to have the table as level as possible (At least somewhat closer to NASA level than Cousin Lennie's crossed eyes level.) These let us break down the table, store it out of the way. Then when needed, roll it out, level up, do the pour.
