Note that the dosage (2cm length of product) is based on a 5kg cat, so you could only give a tiny amount to a kitten. I think it's extremely unlikely that you'd need to give this to a kitten anyway - much better to groom it yourself as that will help with bonding and making it easier to handle when it gets older. If the kitten is coughing up hair and stuff regularly then I'd suggest that you ask a vet for advice. **Q: How much is 3g. Approximately how many inches?** A: Just use about 2cm of paste - my cat licks this off my finger and thinks it's a great treat! The instructions do mention the 2cm dose, but the 3g dose is more prominent (which is next to useless for most people, as you found) **Q: Is this okay for a lactating cat that is feeding kittens?** A: I wouldn't risk it - best to check with your vet for advice if you think this treatment is necessary for your cat.
