My LED window is so poor I don't even know when they are fully charged through the mains. **Q: how long first charge?** A: that charger is rubbish! it says the batteries have charged extremely quickly, however they die extremely quickly as well. I have binned it and gone with an ever ready and a duracell plug-ins. 5-6 times longer top charge but last 5-6 times longer than using the uniross charger. **Q: Will this charger do one battery and/or two at a time** A: It will charge 2 or 4 AA or AAA batteries at a time. It will also tell you if the battery is no good.It won't charge 1 battery at a time. **Q: How much does the entire item and weigh? Amazon claims 417g, but this seems very heavy for a modern charger. I need it for travelling light.** A: The batteries are heavy and therefore long lasting. It's reasonably priced.Dislikes - the 1st time I used it with the batteries supplied, they got very hot. However the batteries are not as powerful as you may think, I am pretty sure the claimed 2500mAh is not as claimed , although I haven't used a multimeter to prove this.
