But because of that softness, the point blunts very quickly requiring resharpening after a couple of applications. Also I found I had to purchase their $10 sharpener. A cheap drugstore sharpeners will chew up this pencil in no time, breaking off the point with only one turn, requiring another sharpening, etc, until there's nothing left of a $22 pencil.
