The subwoofers rated at 150 watt RMS and I had no problems with it but I upgraded to a Rockville dual 4 ohm subwoofer running at 2 ohms recommended at 600 w RMS and I cannot power the amp more than halfway on the game without it going into protection mode mode because of overheating. If you decide to bridge your 6x9. This amplifier will not work for you this is why I recommend getting a separate four channel Rockville amplifier.
