Stirring Collection of Poems
The poems in Wince are a stirring collection of snapshots throughout a life, portraying a changing world as well as acute moments of personal transformation. The poems extract complexity from the mundane, and perceptively distill macro social change. I highly recommend this book of poems both for its content and Dhuga's versatile voice.

Got me back into reading poetry
I used to enjoy reading (and writing, badly) poetry until about 10 years ago, at which point I stopped for no good reason. I happened upon Mr Dhuga's earlier collection, The Sight of a Goose Going Barefoot, a few months ago and it got me interested in poetry again, as I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed Wince just as much and thank the author for reigniting my interest in poetry. Recommended (along with his earlier stuff).
