Not crazy hard but with enough air pressure it creates a clean prepped surface area to carry on the job. Used on a underside of a car. Very messy and dusty after being reused a few times. Safe enough to use and not damage paint under a few layers of masking tape. Was very happy using this but due to the size of the Job in hand it took a while.
