Like a quarter of a teaspoon for 4 chicken breasts. Not a think stuck to the pan. It washed out with just rinsing it. No scrubbing required at ALL. FIrst of all it is so light but not unsubstantial. When cooking a Indian curry it is easy to lift when done. Secondly it heats so evenly and consistently. And it is so easy to clean after use.
