I tried to find replacement plates and no one had “truss” plates except here on Amazon. The difference between truss vs just mending plates has to do how the holes are punched…truss have offset holes whereas mending have them in the same vertical alignment. These have the offset hole pattern so they are intended for truss or vertical load applications. These plates worked just fine for reconnecting the web back to the top chord. However, there is no info on the tensile or compressibility strength of the plates, neither on Amazon or on the box received.
