Understanding normal and clinical nutrition has been very helpful.  I like that it has the definitions on the side of the book or on the bottom of or at the end of the chapter. I don't have to go all the way to the end of the book to find the glossary and then search the word. I also like that it has a summary at the end of each section. The highlights at the end of each chapter are also very helpful .

I'm glad I was able to rent this text through Amazon, because it contains all the material for my Nutrition class for a great price! It has some wear and tear, but it is expected for an older edition.

This textbook is actually a really good read. I have been enjoying the way the authors put this book together. What's convenient about it too is that at the end of each chapter, there is a Highlights section that goes into further detail about the subject and applies it to real life.
