Owing to this, they are very stiff and difficult to get around your arm to tie up. It’s probably a good idea to wrap them around a bed post or similar (overnight or longer if possible) so that they set in that position.Otherwise, they seem well made. I bought a pair for cosplay. While I am more than satisfied by the appearance of these bracers, I have to say that they're rather small. As such, they don't fit well or look great when worn.On a typical male forearm, they're going to appear quite tiny - see the attached photo. If you compare what they look like on a persons arm to the image used for selling this item, you'll see that in reality there's a large gap with no bracer - only leather strings. In order for the bracers to appear as they do in the seller's photo, they'd have to be worn by a child.Yes, the size of the item is stated in the product description. But who's aware of the measurements of their forearm? I simply went from the photo ... If you're not interested in bracers that bend around and cover most of the forearm, these will do nicely.
