**Q: How can I seal the bag without an impulse sealer?**
A: I use a vacuum sealer, without the vacuum.

**Q: Can this bag be autoclaved or put in a pressure cooker?**
A: Yes. I just ran four bags through the pressure cooker this week and they all came out in perfect condition.

**Q: Where do i inject i thought i could go through the filter but that doesnt seem like a good idea. Can i tape over my holes?**
A: i would buy some injection ports, tape them onto hte bag, and inject through that, otherwise you'll leave an opening on your bag and that's going to be a source of contamination. I bought 100 filter injection ports on amazon for like 9 bucks, and i just tape them to the exterior of my bags that dont come with their own ports, and inject through that. You'll have a much better success rate, if you leave any kind of opening you can expect that 40% of your bags (or more, depending on your conditions) will contaminate. Never inject directly through the plastic.

This bag held up well in the pressure cooker (Instant Pot), they are an ideal size but can struggle to fit in the Instant Pot if you fill it too much. They lack an injection port which is the only down side.

Despite what some reviews say, these bags didn't melt in my pressure cooker. I made sure they were lifted off the bottom and that my cooker didn't run dry and they worked a treat. Totally able to use them for fruiting blocks.
