Camera is lightweight and easy to use. By far the best camera I've ever had. Have taken some excellent zoom shots of the moon and of birds. The 50x optical zoom was a selling point for me. Found out it is capable up to 200x digital zoom which was used on one of the photos of the moon. A tripod was used for the moon images. The zoomed images of the birds show no blurred motion even though I'm very unsteady with my hands. The camera deserves a 5.0, but some features and accessories drop the rating. Would prefer 4.5. With my setup I have no way of transferring images from the camera to my computers with wifi. Had to keep taking the memory card out and inserting it in the computer. Eventually, I bought a USB cable which does the trick. That ought to be part of the package. The two extra batteries curb the anxiety of the battery going out and not having a spare as I went through the first battery very quickly trying to learn how to use the camera. The HDMI cable supplied doesn't fit the camera, but I don't need this feature. There was not a mini-tripod, but didn't need it. Received two of the lcd/lens cleaning pens instead. Maybe they knew I'd need two of these instead of the tripod. Wish I'd bought this camera or one like it long ago. ### ⭐ 2 stars for the camera, only because of Canon ... *by J***I on Reviewed in the United States on July 24, 2017* 2 stars for the camera, only because of Canon manufacturing quality. Function does not live up to the expectations stated in advertising... Image quality lessens considerably as zoom extends out... Typical of point-and-shoot cameras I know, but not to this extreme. Continuous shooting is disappointingly slow. If your intent photograph small, moving wildlife (birds in particular) the 530 is not the point-and-shoot to buy. 1 star for Beach Camera... Did not respond after I returned the entire package within Amazon's 30-day and their own 45-day return period. AMEX battling out credit for me, still unsettled since June.My Advice? Buyer beware...
