The Green Pod has three recycling bags (pods). When full, all the recycling bags can be secured inside by zipping up the Green Pod, or individual bags can be detach from their velcro attachments and then taken to the recycling center, bank or kerbside. The glass recycling bag has a cushioned base to help prevent glass from shattering when dropped inside. The sides are reinforced with plastic sheets so that the bag will not easy tear. The Green Pod is delivered as a flat-packed product. It has four grip pads at the bottom for extra stability and robust handles which have been product tested to lift in excess of 100kg! The three generously sized bags inside have discreet symbols in plastic/cans, glass and paper. I like the sizes...A lot of recycling bags on sale are simply too small to be of practical use. I like that you have individual bags, each clearly marked on the inside to tell you what type of material to put inside. They all fit nicely in the bigger bag and can be secured with the Velcro fastenings inside. There are also rigid sides supplied with the item, so you insert them to stand it upright if you need to, but you can as well remove them to make the bag collapsible for storage. Everything about this recycling system is fab. It looks very stylish. I also like that you can zip round the top to cover it. The inside is easy to wipe clean.Lastly, as an avid recycler, I’d like to thank this company for creating this product to make it easy for people to recycle. Its so affordable. I hope more people will buy. Every little effort helps to save the planet. And we should.
