The best thing to do is color the boxes on the sheet that comes with the colored pencils. That way, you can know what color you are choosing, and see it before you choose it. It is really super handy, and the reason I know which color is which in that giant thing od pencil colors. **Q: Are these colored pencil cruelty free?** A: I honestly don't know. But, for as long as I have been dealing in colored pencils, I want to say that Amazon doesn't normally deal in or with cruelty. You could probably Google the brand for more details though.
