I removed all of the screws in the handle and then put lock tite on them and reassembled. I also wrapped the handle with some mastic tape (rubber tape) and now I have a heavy duty , first class machete. It has a very good, heavy duty blade with a full tang . Well worth the money . Arrived razor sharp. Two issues I had was handle blanks were loose but was an easy fix. The other was the loop for a lanyard is very comfortable for a person with a large hand while swing it.
