Heavy conditioners didn’t work because my hair would just get gross. This seems to be helping my scalp about 2 weeks in and my hair is soooo soft. Others said they don’t like the smell, but I think it’s fine. It smells like shea butter and slightly minty for some reason, like an after dinner mint is what it reminds me of. I don’t like super scented things tho so this is perfect for me. Of the shea products that work for me, I like the low porosity shampoo (old formula, haven’t tried new one yet) and the Jamaican castor oil cleansing shampoo. In the cold months, I usually have tons of dry skin flakes that I'm constantly swiping out of my hair and anyone can see if they get close to me. This product has completely changed that. There are still a few flakes on my head if I move my hair around and look suuuuper closely, but I don't see them unless I'm literally doing a scalp check. There aren't even any flakes falling when I scratch my head. I'm so surprised by how amazing this shampoo and conditioner is. It's a total life changer.
