It worked fine. I did run it off of a 5 gallon propane tank and not the one pounder. **Q: is this a standard propane cylinder like you would use for camping gear? looks stubbier than the cylinders I have** A: There are some disposable tanks that are taller (like 10 inches tall but 2.5 inch diameter) and labeled 14 oz. Those are more made for torches and will mate up on the connection for this, but won't swing all the way vertical as intended.
