Then you need to use provided brush and apply the gel. Which I did. Leave it for a minute - done, waited for 5min to make sure to a almost zero effect. They say although in the instructions that if it didn't work (they actually know it wouldn't, right?) it maybe because the gel came into contact with the liquid. It does obviously come into contact with the liquid as I'm putting it on the lashes covered with liquid. So not sure how it is supposed to work.
