**Q: Does it support vlan ? vpn ?**
A: No

**Q: Does this fix the problem of an analog fax phone line that runs into a digital phone port on my modem? That connection is not allowing faxes to work.**
A: I don't think so, this is a SIP based ATA, which means a carrier or PBX (Business Telephone System) turns fax/analog signals into digital packets and sends them over the internet to this device which turns them back into analog signals for fax machines and analog phones. If your modem has a tel1/tel2..... then they should be able to be used for faxing. This is very broad information I'm not sure what carrier or modem you have. I'd start with a call to the carrier and ask them about faxing from your service.

A: I don't know it don't work with voice ip ph
