It's a little too tall for what I had in mind but I should have done more measuring so that's on me. It's also too tight in the shelves to play a record while the player is on the shelves, you have to have the record player sitting on top. Which is fine since when I'm not using it the shut player fits just fine and I'm able to have a plant sitting on top instead. And it's a sturdy shelf, the "wood" is actually nice quality. It was also pretty easy to put together. Plus the adjustable feet are handy for uneven floors.
