Beano Annual 2023 Hardcover – August 1, 2022

Last time I bought a Beano was in 1984. Here we are, 38 years later and I was feeling like a bit of nostalgia. So I bought this. It has a few of the older comics in it, but many were new. Or they added new characters to stay modern, diversified, and inclusive. (there's no problem with that, just noting a change)It's basically the same as I remembered it. The humor didn't hit as hard as when i was a kid, but if I were, I'm sure it would be as funny as I remember. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed my time reading this annual. (and The Dandy annual I also bought) It did take me back, briefly, to a time when I had very few cares in this world. And that is worth the cost of The. Beano Annual 2023 in my book.
