- TWO SEPARATELY ADJUSTABLE HEATING ELEMENTS: 1000 watts or 1800 watts or 2800 watts power. The heater is ideal for rooms up to 20 m² with an average height of 2 m.

**Q: Can this be left to run continuously without turning off for a sustained period of time?**
A: Hello, would be Phoenix user, we have had our unit for four years at least; in the winter it is set at about 4C and then when necessary the heat will come on as and when required. During the warmer months, say April through to September the fan only is running when the greenhouse is closed up, which is say from 6pm - 8am, but also on those wet clammy days then it is on stirring up the air to prevent botrytis etc. I hope this gives you confidence to make a decision.

**Q: Is this fan as powerful as the Arizona? Is it basically the Arizona but with a heater as well?**
A: The Arizona is an air mover fan only with no heater element.  it will move 460 cu.m./hr all day whatever the temperature.  The Phoenix has a thermostat and will move and heat air until the set temperature is achieved - and then switch off. (It will also do 'fan only').  They do different things - you have to decide what you want.  I have a Phoenix unit set to prevent freezing in a 5m x 3m glasshouse and it operates perfectly.

**Q: Reviews mentioned a 2-prong plug.  How does this work if you have to plug it into an adaptor and then it's sticking out of the waterproof socket?**
A: My heater just has an ordinary 13amp plug. not a 2 pronged plug. and i dont need it to be waterproof.

**Q: Can this heater be used safely by plugging into an electric extension lead?**
A: I have run mine on a 13A extension lead for several years and have had no problems, but obviously in the greenhouse you need to be careful with the potential for water splashes and my extension lead is attached high up and away from areas likely to be wetted.
The heater comes with mounting chains, so it ca be hung from your greenhouse apex if thats possible.
Good product, when you get used to the temperature control.

Beautifully constructed with stainless steel body. Solid kettle type elements (NOT flimsy wire as in most fan heaters).Huge control range for heat, or simply to blow cold air. Very sensitive thermostat giving very accurate control and thereforemaximum efficiency. Typical German engineering. *Can be mounted on feet or suspended from greenhouse roof with chain supplied. Operating perfectly as frost protectionin a 30ft x 12ft glass house which is why it was purchased. Will be observing running costs, but am tempted to purchasea second.* Update Monday 6th May 2013, Nasty cut to hand suffered when winding cable for storage and brushed front edge of unit.Rim not bevelled and therefore DANGEROUSLY sharp. Beware. This is disappointing in view of my original comments.

### ⭐ Fire hazard - beware!

At first I was moderately happy with this heater. Hysteresis on the thermostat was quite wide, and it drifted over the course of a day too (in other words, the switch point dropped throughout the course of the day). The temperature scale is odd too, but workable. I could live with those issues. However what I can’t accept is the fuse overheating and melting the plug AND the wall socket (see attached photos). The heater was less than two years old when this happened. Fuses should blow quickly, not burn like this. I’m just lucky nobody was hurt and that the fire didn’t spread. I’m outside of the 12 month return window, but won’t be buying biogreen again.
