The Silvine brand has undergone many changes through the years, but some things will always stay the same. Like the ethical way we do business. And our insistence on manufacturing all our stationery right here in the UK. It all started in 1837 - From Victorian ledgers to 21st century stationery. The oldest surviving stationery catalogue we have in our archives, dated 1928, lists a Silvine exercise book and a drawing book. Amazingly, we still make both these products, although they look rather different today. From the 1960s on, generations grew up using our iconic red Silvine exercise books with the laurel wreath logo on the cover. It’s quite an educational experience as well.
