The first fiur years, we hardly use our mobility cart and then as we increased our usage, we encountered electrical issues that was contribute to charger failure.My replacement charger was a clone of the first. It failed within a couple of months while not doing an a adequate job of charging and overheating.This model was 2 amp, up from 1.5 amps and had a larger footprint than the originals.So far, it never takes more than two hours to charge after an hour of use.
