Personally i like that, they look impressive laid out on your table. I would say i have pretty average hands and i have no problem using these. I don't see why they should be a problem for someone with smaller hands either, but i have noticed a negative review from someone saying they are too big so maybe that's something to be aware of if you have particularly small hands. The overall quality of them is really good. The blade is rigid and really quite sharp which makes slicing through a thick piece of steak effortless. I have had them for quite a while now and they have not deteriorated in any way. In fact they still look good as new. Obviously only wash them by hand in the sink so you don't ruin the wood finish. The quality seems very good, they are solid and appear well constructed - only time will tell. Yes, they are huge - but I guess the clue is in the name!!! I'm sure that people would complain if they ordered knives marketed as 'jumbo' but were the same size as normal knives! I ordered these specifically because of the size. I have a chronic joint condition which means that gripping anything small causes pain, these knives are the perfect solution.
