The length of the backplate provides a large load bearing surface making it ideal for mounting heavy items such as flat screen TVs, radiators, cupboards, shelves, curtain rails, grab bars, mirrors and similar The curved design of the backplate enables it to fit into cavities as shallow as 30mm. When fixing smaller items, extra fixing points can be made in the backplate, this is particularly useful where fixing points are close together. I’ve been in the building trade 36 years and they are by far the best product out there for what you need ( as long as you follow the instructions correctly). **Q: can i use these on a tile and plasterboard hollow wall** A: hi, if you mean drill through tiles that are on plasterboard then use this fixing within the plasterboard wall then yes as long as you drill a wide enough hole and have enough depth in the wall hollw to get the length of the back plate through. i found a better option was the Gripit range of plasterboard devices as they dont require such a large crevice, i mounted a 65" TV directly to plasterboard using the heavt duty Gripit range, check youtube and search gripit and see what you think of them **Q: Can I use these to hang 30kg TV on double thick plasterboard (30mm)??** A: Hi Colin I have used these on a 60 inch tv on a single plasterboard wall and a on a very heavy wall hung basin again single plasterboard. **Q: Could these be used in conjubction with a pocket door system?
