Great with sushi or as a snack. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good ginger *by D***1 on July 6, 2026* Texture, easy to use, good taste, ### ⭐ Warning, warning, it contains lead, as-pertain and other chemical agents.! *by J***I on May 11, 2024* disappointed to find that while this product advertises "natural" ginger, and "No MSG", "non-GMO", that it has Colorants ("E129", a commonly used Red Azo class of food dyes), Aspartame ("E951" - a particularly bad actor in the digestive tract, this and other artificial sweeteners interfere and kill good stomach flora). And, this product carries that California Prop. 65 Warning label noting "This product contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer, and birth defects or other reproductive harm." I see that it also has Acetic Acid (vinegar), no problem there I assume, Citric Acid (a food preservative, related to Vitamin C, I believe?), and Potassium Sorbate (another common food preservative). I tried to do some quick web searching to see WHICH of these food additives causes this product to carry the CA Prop 65 Cancer Warning label, though could not find which it is. The Colorant E129 is supposed to be among the safest and lowest risk, among the most widely used colorants in use, though still gives me pause. Perhaps it is the Aspartame?
