It was difficult to get it smoothed halfway straight so I could at least try it on, it came very swooped to one side so that at first I thought they had sent me a swoop bang by mistake. In the vid the model shows the straight cut and swoop pieces--but the straight across one WAS straight across as she held it so I expected that would be the condition in which it would come to me. I just couldn't get it to look natural. It came pretty true to color as illustrated by Sono in their picture~~(I'd name it an auburn-ish light brown--it's very reddish!) which ended up being a shade off of my hair color but if it had been super cute and "fool-the-eye" natural looking I would have had my hairdresser dye it to match my hair--a shade darker. I think they made them this length so that everyone can trim and style as they’d like. It kind of becomes an issue because most of us aren’t hair stylists and have all had an awful experience cutting our own bangs in the past. This hair is also seriously thick, which was a huge problem for me because I have naturally thin hair. I took these to a hairdresser and even she was too scared to cut them. Because once you cut this piece of hair it will not grow back! She still tried to thin and trim down the bangs to get rid of the extra thickness. She refused to touch it after that. They were still too long so I ended up cutting some more at home and they just didn’t look very nice. It would be much easier to receive them somewhat styled or cut and that way we can make minor changes that won’t ruin the piece completely. I chose this one specifically since it’s human hair and I thought I’d wear it whenever I want but I only wore it once because it’s impossible to cut and style.
