## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is the grass harmful to small livestock (rabbits and guineapigs)  once the lawn has treated?**
A: Sorry. I don't know the answer to that question as I don't have any small livestock. However if garden birds are anything to go by there seems to be no ill effect at all. I regularly have Robins, Blackbirds, Wood Pigeons, etc. pecking about on the lawn. They were there weeks before I started using the Iron Sulphate treatment on the lawn, during the process (which, I must admit, did alarm me because I wasn't sure if the treatment would harm them in any way) but, I'm pleased to say, they are all still around today. For garden birds and even a squirrel that unfortunately regularly visits the garden to dig up parts of lawn looking for buried food, I can honestly say, there have been no ill effects at all. The wildlife, I'm pleased to say, is still going strong.

**Q: Can this be used to kill moss on soil and rocks etc**
A: Yes it certainly can. Moss turns black and dies in anything from 1 hour to 24 hours.  However, on hard surfaces it will stain a rusty colour and this would probably happen to the rocks also. Some would say the rusty orange staining adds character but its not to everyone's liking.

**Q: can I still compost the grass after this has been used on the lawn?**
A: I would not advise this as the iron sulphate would cause damage to plants if you used the compost, also don't compost the ist 4 cuttings as that will allow the bulk of the iron sulphate to be removed from the lawn

**Q: How many tea spoons or table spoons do you add to a10 litre watering can to kill the moss ?? Thank You**
A: I can’t remember I calculated it from the instructions... sorry not much help !!!
